I am buying a home, new to me. The main floor has a 14 x 19 living room that has a god aweful paint job with screw and nail holes. The basic plan is I am looking at having the walls textured and painted to bring it back to the new look. The advanced plan is to give the room a brick wall planeling with tin ceilings and a distressed oak flooring. I will do the flooring and ceiling. I am looking for estimates for both the basic and advanced plans. Thank you

Q.My husband is painting a picture for his parents for Christmas and has messed up a small part of the painting, He's tried painting over it, but can't get the right shade anymore. He's using acrylics. Is there a way to remove that small area of paint, without damaging the rest of the painting so that he can redo it?
A.I teach acrylic painting lessons and use this medium daily. Acrylic has a plastic blend and when it dries it's not coming off. Keep working on matching the colors where the problem area is. Just layer the colors little by little...be patient it will come together. I just finished a painting of a pair of beagles...the owner of the painting wanted me to change the color of the hair coat on one of the dogs. Which meant I had to basically start my layering all over from scratch. So I did this and worked on it for a few hours and it came together and the owner was happy with the results.
